ANNOUNCEMENT: The Aloka Vihara Nuns are offering our 3rd Sunday teaching at Berkeley on Zoom during this time of ‘shelter in place.’ The Aloka Vihara Nuns will be hosting an informal conversation with tea as well as a Dhamma Talk on meditation and precepts. After living as nuns in the Forest Tradition of Ajahn Chah for many years, they took bhikkhuni ordination in 2011. They currently reside at Aloka Vihara near Placerville, CA, a training monastery for women. She ordained as bhikkhuni in 2012 and currently resides at Karuna Buddhist Vihara in Mountain View.
