Camp Description

In modern times, stories of our heritage commonly get lost. Yet it is often the case that a better understanding of our roots define who we are.

In this camp, adults will learn storytelling skills to be able to include our children into the rich traditions that each family has. Also they will learn what the Buddha's teachings have to say about nurturing a harmonious family.

Children absorb their surroundings that later influence them when they are adults. Many of the things children learn now come from media and their friends. At this camp, they will hear stories of goodness and compassion such as recognizing the kindness of parents--the principles that guide children on how to to be good brothers, sisters, and friends.
