8/28/2012: Tea & Dharma with Rev. Heng Sure at Teance

8/29/2012

"Suddenly, Fall is Here"

Summer turns to Fall, and Winter can't be far behind. That relentless process has been celebrated in moody French songs in poems, in melancholy toasts, and often without looking at the calendar we know, one day, that fall has come.

We gathered to drink great tea and listened to each other sharing wisdom about the turning of the seasons. We looked at that process in terms of Dharma and also in terms of the arts.

Rev. Heng Sure played a song about wisdom by an known author. We also listened to a song about fall by a French artist Yves Montand.
A guest shared a poem by Chinese poet Su Shr
Moose puppet also joined us saying that he likes autumn.

The gathering ended in the music of the Dedication of the Merit
